WATCH: Amazing ‘firefall’ at Yosemite National Park
YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, CA (WFLA) – A beautiful optical illusion turned a waterfall into a ‘firefall’ at Yosemite National Park in California.
The amazing view was caught on camera.
“Firefall” only happens around this time a year, when the setting sun hits the waterfall and shines through it. It looks like fire flowing off a cliff.
Only in February, the angle of the sun is just right to create the illusion. The park rangers say it’s a bonanza for photographers.
