INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Felicia Grady discovered her passion for cooking could turn into a business while serving others.
Her first job at the Flanner House, a nonprofit that has served people in the Indianapolis community for more than a century, got her started after she graduated from culinary school.
“They were a full school at the time and also a daycare and I was responsible for feeding all of the children,” Grady said.
That was the spark that led to the beginning of the Plate It Up Catering company. Grady caters anything from Cajun and Creole food to vegetarian and vegan cuisine.
