32-year-old died from gunshot on city’s near north side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police are investigating a homicide on the city’s near north side Saturday morning.
Officials received the call about an incident between a man and a woman in the 200 block of West 32nd Street around 4:15 a.m.
Upon arrival, police found a female victim with apparent trauma to her body.
The woman was identified Monday as Sarah Serna, 37. The coroner’s office said she died of a gunshot.
A person of interest in the investigation has been located.
It is believed the homicide is domestic related.
Suspect or victim information have yet to be released.
