Try making pottery as an alternative to the traditional Valentine’s Day date

Valentine’s date-night idea, Pottery by You and More, Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — It’s almost Valentine’s Day, and that means, flowers, chocolates, dinner and a movie for a lot of people. If you want to change things up a little this year, Pottery By You & More has another date idea in mind.

Pottery is a little messier than dinner and a movie — unless you’re going for some ribs — but it gives the two of you a chance to engage in something, rather than just sitting back and watching something silently, or not talking because your mouth is full of food.

The great thing about pottery is that you don’t even need to be good at it! You can make a plate and if it’s a little misshapen, call it a heart.

If pottery isn’t really your thing, but you know your significant other would love it, Pottery By You & More says you’re welcome to bring your own wine, beer and liquor.

Pottery By You & More has a special Valentine’s Day deal — “buy one studio fee, get one free” — available Feb. 14 and 15.
