Another section of I-465 set to close Friday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Motorists get set to encounter another traffic issue.
The Indiana Department of Transportation will shut down a section of I-465 on the city’s south side.
Crews will close westbound I-465 from I-65 to I-70 on west side at 9 p.m. Friday evening.
That area is projected to be closed for up to 10 days, which will allow crews to fix crumbling pavement and repair bridges.
The same type of procedure was carried out on the eastbound lanes of I-465 in early September.
Those lanes recently opened back up, two days earlier than what was expected.
