Bicyclist killed after hit-and-run near airport
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis police are looking for the driver of a vehicle that hit and killed a bicyclist near the airport. Police have now identified the victim in the fatal hit-and-run.
IMPD said 51-year-old Chris Hamilton was riding a three-wheeled bike after being hit by a vehicle in the 5000 block of W. Troy Avenue around 6 a.m. Hamilton was pronounced dead on the scene
He was “likely struck last night,” police said in a tweet Friday morning.
IMPD said there are currently no witnesses, no suspects, no vehicle description and no debris from a possible vehicle.
