Central Avenue switches to two-way traffic Saturday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Motorists, be prepared for some changes Saturday on Central Avenue.
Part of the street, from south of East Fall Creek Parkway North Drive, will be converted to a two-way street Saturday.
Crews had to push back finalizing the conversion because of winter weather earlier in the week.
There will be changes to traffic signals at some intersections to reflect the conversion.
Indianapolis Department of Public Works and IndyGo worked together on the $2.5 million project. It is supposed to help pedestrian safety, traffic circulation and access to transit.
