Police: 1 arrested in woman’s death on city’s south side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A woman’s relative is facing a charge and a homicide investigation is underway on the city’s south side after the woman died from unknown injuries.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the 200 block of East Cragmont Drive on Feb. 4 just before 2 p.m. When officers arrived they found a woman, 36-year-old Mah Tha, who had suffered some type of injury.
Tha, was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. IMPD officers detained the woman’s relative, Tuan Ling, at the scene and arrested him for attempted murder.
Tha died on Thursday.
Her cause of death has been ruled as blunt force trauma. An investigation is ongoing.
