Gas prices increase but remain cheaper than last year
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Gas prices have increased around Indianapolis and nationwide.
The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded gas is $2.58, which is 13 cents higher than a couple weeks ago.
Industry analysts say higher crude oil prices are to blame for the increase in consumer prices.

Despite the latest increase in gas prices, fuel remains more than $1 cheaper per gallon compared to a year ago.
