IMPD: 3 juveniles, 1 adult arrested in connection to robbery spree

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department say four people, including three juveniles have been arrested following several robberies from local pharmacies.

Police believe the suspects are responsible for four to 10 pharmacy robberies, including one at a Walgreen’s in the 9000 block of East 38th Street.

IMPD said during that robbery a male was the look out while a female went in the store and demanded pills form the pharmacy. Following the robbery the suspects ran to a nearby apartment complex. Witnesses told police that they saw a red Honda CRV leave the apartment at a high rate of speed.

Police say the vehicle reported leaving the apartment had been reported in several other robberies in the area.

During a traffic stop police detained four subjects inside the vehicle and located a handgun, items consistent with a robbery kit and a piece of clothing that matched the description of multiple robberies recently reported.

IMPD said three juvenile suspects and one adult male were arrested.
