INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Every week WISH-TV, together with our partners at Indiana Grown, highlight a local company.

This week, Abigail Gerig, owner of Dragonwood LLC, stopped by the studios to talk about the honey and maple syrup products her business offers customers.

The business was started in Kokomo in 2009 at the local farmers market where Dragonwood launched a line of honey. The business has since added maple syrup to its lineup and expanded to multiple markets.

Abigail manages the business with her father, Michael Gerig.

“Your standard maple syrup maker will have your pure maple syrup, of course…” said Abigail Gerig. “What makes us really special we add spice and flavor to our syrups as well. So we do some fun flavors.”

Some of the products offered by Dragonwood LLC include: pure wildflower honey, beeswax blocks, bee pollen, cut comb, pure maple syrup, maple sugar and maple candy.
