KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. (Inside INdiana Business) — The Kosciusko Economic Development Corp. is launching a new initiative to promote talent attraction and retention in the county. The organization says the effort includes the development of a talent pipeline project with the help of Indianapolis-based TMap.

Other services in development through the initiative include a carpooling project in collaboration with Commute with Enterprise, customized community tours, and a dual career recruitment program that would focus on spouses.

KEDCo says the initiative will also aim to improve the existing workforce by offering support for individuals who are planning for the next steps in their career journey and organizing networking opportunities and meet-ups for those new to the area.

“Our team understands that talent is the new currency in economic development and we believe the career opportunities and quality of life in our community makes Kosciusko County a standout Midwest location to live or work,” said KEDCo Chief Executive officer Alan Tio, “Our talent initiative will deliver a menu of services for individuals and employers alike that is unique to Kosciusko County.”
