IPS superintendent discusses ballot referendums

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Tuesday is election day, and while most of the attention has been focused on the US Senate race, several school districts are also hoping to pass referendums for tax increases.

That includes Indianapolis Public Schools, which has two proposals on the ballot.

Dr. Lewis Ferebee, IPS superintendent, stopped by Daybreak Monday.

He discussed how the it will affect the school and citizens of Indianapolis.
