Exercise can improve mood, reduce anxiety

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Research from Boston University School of Public Health shows that the depression rate in the U.S. has quadrupled since the beginning of the pandemic.

With Thanksgiving this week, many people are struggling to be thankful.

Scott Haase, Community Health Network health coach, was on Daybreak Monday.

He shared some simple things to do in order to improve your mood.

He discussed how exercise and physical activity can improve mood and reduce anxiety.

Additionally, he talked about an exercise to improve mood that only requires a pen and paper.
