Man who says he gave kids ‘sex lessons’ found guilty
GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) – The man who said he gave children “sex lessons” was found guilty Wednesday afternoon on two counts of child molestation and three counts of dissemination of matter harmful to minors.
According to the Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office, after a three day jury trial jurors found Jessie Rodarmel of Greenwood guilty.
During the trial, evidence was presented and each victim testified about the sexual acts that were performed, as well as the pornography videos Rodarmel made them watch.
Police officials began investigating Rodarmel in October 2014, and the allegations against him date back to June 2014.
The victims told police that Rodarmel said he was going to give them “sex lessons” and made them watch pornography with him. During some of those instances, there was sexual contact between him and the children, according to police.
In an interview with police, Rodarmel admitted to the “lessons” involving watching pornography, but he denied touching the children.
According to police, Rodarmel knew the victims.
Sentencing is scheduled for September 29.
