One arrested following search of residence
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One person was taken into custody as police executed a search warrant.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, a search warrant was carried out at a home in the 3400 block of Marabou Mills Court.
During the search, police found one and half pounds of methamphetamine, 10 grams of heroin, $11,000 in cash, a stolen AK-47 and two handguns.
Police said 28-year-old Brandon Day was arrested after being stopped in a vehicle a short distance from the his home.
The search warrant and arrest was the result of a weeks-long investigation after police received word about a man selling narcotics on the city’s west side.
According to police, Day faces charges including dealing in methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and others.
