Pet Pals TV: Understanding the importance of bees
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Patty Spitler stopped by the Daybreak studios on Saturday to talk about the importance of bees.
Patty also brought in some honey that was harvested by her neighbor.
“We need them,” explained Spitler. “They’ve been around for millions of years. If we didn’t have them, the theory is in three to four years man would be extinct.”
Spitler explained bees are the only insect that produces food eaten by man.
