Police find missing 8-year-old safe in Lafayette

LATEST: Lafayette Police Department reports that the child has been located and is safe.
LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WISH) — Police are seeking help to find a missing 8-year-old in Lafayette, the city government said on its Facebook page.
Nolan Winger was last seen about 5 p.m. Tuesday at his home in the 900 block of Rosemont Street, which is in a residential area just southeast of the intersection of Teal Road and South Ninth Street.
The boy was described as 5 feet. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with a large Adidas logo and white stripes on the sleeves, jeans with holes, and black Vans shoes.
