Police make arrest in connection to April murder
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department have made an arrest in connection to an April murder.
30-year-old Zechariah James is now in custody, according to IMPD.
James was wanted for the April 11 shooting of 34-year-old Antoan Johnson.
At the time of the incident a warrant was issued for James’ arrest.
Police said the fatal incident originally stemmed from a disturbance.
IMPD also thanked the community for their help in apprehension of James.
