Police search for car after hit-and-run puts 2 in hospital

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Police in Indianapolis are asking for the public’s help to find a car they believe was involved in a Saturday morning hit-and-run that left two people in the hospital.

It happened just before 3:30 a.m. on Southeastern Avenue near Emerson Avenue.

According to Sgt. Christopher Wilburn with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said officers are seeking a beige or gold Ford F-150 truck with a model year between 2004 and 2008. It’s expected to have damage to the front passenger side, including heavy damage to the headlight.

Police said a man and a woman were struck by a vehicle while walking early Saturday morning and transported to the hospital with “serious injuries.”

Authorities said they do not expect one of the victims to survive.
