Report: Day care cited after child found alone
WHITELAND, Ind. (WISH) – Officials say a day care is under scrutiny after a child was unsupervised inside the building.
According to 24-Hour News 8’s partners at the Daily Journal, say a worker noticed the child alone in the facility.
Reports indicate, because of this incident, Childtime Learning Center in Whiteland was issued a probationary license.
The child wasn’t hurt in the incident, said Lydia Cisaruk, spokeswoman for Michigan-based Childtime Learning, which operates the Whiteland center.
After the incident, the center provided additional staff training, Cisaruk said.
The probationary license lasts until June 30.
