Steakhouse to join Giordano’s in Illinois Building

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Downtown Indianapolis will see another steakhouse soon, Keystone Realty Group announced Monday morning.

The Indianapolis location will be the first restaurant in Indiana for steakhouse chain Hyde Park Prime Steakhouse, which has restaurants in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Florida.

Hyde Park Steakhouse will locate in the Illinois Building, which is at the intersection of Illinois and Market streets. The building was built in 1926 and has been vacant the past 13 years. In addition to the steakhouse, the building will also be home to the new downtown location of Giordano’s, the famous Chicago deep-dish pizzeria.

Additional tenants for the Illinois Building have not yet been secured.

The steakhouse is scheduled to open in the beginning of 2016.
