INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The 2020 tax season has arrived and with this season comes increased cases of identity theft.

It is Tax Identity Theft Awareness Week.

Now is the time to take steps to protect yourself and your money.

Casey Marx from Crown Heaven Wealth Advisors stopped by Daybreak on Tuesday.

He talked about what signs to be on the lookout for in order to avoid becoming a victim of identity theft.

Marx also discussed steps to take if you believe you’ve had your identity stolen.
