FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)  A three-month-long undercover investigation by the Indiana State Police led to the arrest of a Fort Wayne man Wednesday morning on eight felony counts of child exploitation.

According to police, the investigation looked into peer-to-peer file sharing via the Internet being done by Erik Leigh Hayden, 19, of Fort Wayne.  Officers with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force executed a search warrant at Hayden’s home and took him into custody.

The task force is made up of the Indiana State Police, Fort Wayne Police Department and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

It was not made clear exactly what was found during the search warrant in a news release issued by Indiana State Police.

The news release notifying the media of Hayden’s arrest did not indicate if that investigation was related to one that led to the arrest of Dillon D. Kingsbery of Huntertown on Tuesday after 6,000 child pornogrpahy, bestiality and bondage images were found on computer devices at his home in Huntertown following an investigation by Indiana State Police.
