Teen arrested in connection to shooting death of Lafayette teacher
LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WISH) — One teen is in custody following the fatal shooting of an art teacher in Lafayette.
Authorities have arrested 18-year-old Darius Javon Printup in connection with the shooting death of 52-year-old Kristi Redmon.
The shooting occurred Thursday evening just before 8:30 p.m.
Authorities and investigators on scene found Redmon dead on her front porch of her home in the 1300 block of Ridgeway Avenue.
Redmon taught art for the Lafayette School Corporation.
