Too much sleep and heart disease

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A new says that getting too much sleep may put you at greater risk of heart disease.

Dr. Noel Dasgupta, a cardiologist with IU health, was on Daybreak Wednesday.

She stopped by to talk about the study, why sleeping more than eight hours raises your risk of heart attack and what is the ideal amount of sleep.
