Tow truck driver shot, killed on city’s south side
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are investigating the death of a tow truck driver on the city’s south side.
Officers were called to the 4100 block of Continental Court — that’s near East Hanna Avenue between Meridian and East streets — just before 11 p.m. Saturday on a report of a a person shot.
Upon arrival, the victim was found dead next to his tow truck.
It appeared that the victim suffered multiple gun shot wounds.
It is unsure what the victim was doing at the apartment complex before he died.
Authorities said it is unclear if the shooting was random or if the victim was targeted.
Suspect or victim information has yet to be released.
