WISH-TV launching ‘Hoosiers Helping Hoosiers: Fund Drive for Food’
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – You are about to see a lot more about a new push to make sure our friends and neighbors have enough to eat during our shared crisis.
WISH-TV is launching the “Hoosiers Helping Hoosiers: Fund Drive for Food.”
Donations to the fund will help fill the Gleaners Food Bank.
John Elliot is the president and CEO of Gleaners and was on Daybreak Thursday, connecting through Facetime.
He discussed the need for food right now, how it’s changed since the beginning of pandemic and how much food Gleaners goes through in a week.
