Woman reverses car into downtown pizza restaurant
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A woman walked away uninjured Saturday after she accidentally backed her car through a downtown pizza place.
According to Indianapolis Fire Department, the 20-year-old woman told police she was trying to avoid being hit by another car while backing up on the north side of Washington Street around 7:20 p.m.
She then hit the gas, going reverse across four lanes and slamming into a building.
The crash damaged Tammy’s International Pizza.
