‘Pet Pals TV’: Medical Mutts Service Dogs

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Each and every week, “Pet Pals TV” shares a fun, interesting and informative story about our four-legged and furry friend population.

This week, Patty Spitler, host of “Pet Pals TV,” was joined by Kelsey Burton from Medical Mutts Service Dogs and a special canine guest — Patch, a service dog in training.

Medical Mutts is an Indianapolis-based organization dedicated to training rescue dogs as service dogs.

Burton brought Patch, one of the dogs in training, with her to the set of “Pet Pals TV.”

“We knew he had been trained to do service work…and now we’re training him for a new person,” Burton explained. “What we’re all about is giving second chances to these pups and helping folks that really need the support of a service dog.”

To help support its mission, Medical Mutts is hosting “Dogs and Designer Purse Bingo” on Thursday, May 11, at the Delaware Township Community Center. Click here to learn more and get tickets.
