It was a beautiful weekend across all of Indiana with lots of sunshine and pleasant temperatures. Race week is looking fantastic too. Monday will start out a bit on the cool side with lows in the 50s and highs near 80 degrees. It should be mostly sunny. Tuesday looks even better with more sun and temps in the lower 80s.

A cold front will move through the region on Wednesday ushering in some clouds but it should pass through on the dry side. Highs will be in the upper 70s. Pleasant weather will continue into Thursday and Friday with dry conditions and highs in the 70s.

The extended outlook is calling for a nice race weekend. Saturday and Sunday are both looking dry. Highs on Saturday will be near 80 degrees and in the lower 80s on Race Day!

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We are in store for a beautiful Easter weekend across Indiana!

Saturday: Look for lots of sunshine today with afternoon highs in the lower 60s.

If you are heading out to watch the Indy Eleven this evening, grab a light jacket as the temperature will quickly drop into the 50s once the sun goes down. Skies should remain mostly clear tonight.

Sunday: Easter Sunday will be another fantastic day. The weather for early sunrise services will be clear and chilly with temperatures in the upper 30s. Skies will be sunny again tomorrow with afternoon highs a bit warmer in the middle 60s. Monday looks even nicer with more sunshine and temps in the upper 60s.

8-Day Forecast: The extended outlook shows a dry pattern along with a gradual warming trend next week. Highs should warm into the 70s for Tuesday through Thursday. Temperatures may crack the 80-degree mark next Friday and Saturday. No rain is expected until next Saturday when a few scattered showers may develop.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — It has been a beautiful day across central Indiana with lots of sunshine and highs in the middle 70s. This evening will be wonderful if you are heading out to the Pacers game or dinner. Temps will drop into the 60s with lows tomorrow morning in the 50s. Sunday should be another fantastic day with more sunshine and highs again in the middle 70s.

The beginning of next week will find some changes heading our way. Clouds will be on the increase Monday with highs again in the upper 70s. A cold front and an area of low pressure will move into the region on Tuesday bringing a good threat for some much needed rain. Rain will be likely Tuesday night and into Wednesday. Right now, it appears we could see some widespread rainfall amounts in excess of an inch by Wednesday evening.

The extended outlook does show a more active pattern next week. Rain showers will diminish on Wednesday. Dry and seasonal temps will be likely for Thursday and Friday with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Scattered showers may return by next Saturday.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Good Saturday morning! It is going to be a warm and humid day across central Indiana. Highs this afternoon will be in the middle 80s. Grab the rain gear as scattered showers and storms will be likely especially this afternoon and evening. Scattered storms should diminish late tonight. Lows overnight will be in the upper 60s.

Sunday and Labor Day will also find a good chance for more scattered showers and thunderstorms. It should not rain all day with the most likely timing during the afternoon and evening hours. Highs on Sunday will be near 80 degrees and in the upper 70s on Monday.

The extended outlook indicates storm chances continuing through Wednesday morning. Skies will clear later in the week with temps remaining on the warm and humid side. Temps may approach 90 degrees by next Friday.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — It was a chilly and damp Saturday with temps only in the 40s.

Sunshine and warmer weather will return on Sunday. Highs on Sunday will top out in the lower 60s.

Monday should be an even better day with increasing clouds and highs near 70 degrees.

Big changes will arrive Tuesday and Wednesday as an area of low pressure moves into the Ohio Valley. Rain and a few thunderstorms will be likely Tuesday with highs near 60 degrees. Wednesday will also be on the wet side with occasional showers and temps in the middle 60s. Rainfall may be on the heavy side with totals from 1 to 2 inches by Thursday morning.

The extended outlook indicates a few showers on Thursday with highs near 50 degrees.

Friday and the weekend are looking dry with seasonal temperatures. Highs will be mainly in the 50s with lows in the 30s.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Sunday night will be a breezy and much warmer than Saturday night across central Indiana, and lows Monday morning will be in the 30s.

Highs on Monday afternoon again will climb into the 50s along with increasing cloud cover. Rain and a few thunderstorms will be likely Tuesday as a cold front moves through the area.

Tuesday will be our final mild day with highs near 60 degrees. Much colder air will arrive for Wednesday with highs in the middle 30s and mostly cloudy skies. A second storm system will bring a good threat for snow starting late Wednesday night into Thursday. There is the potential for accumulating snow as we head into Thursday and Thursday night. Highs on Thursday will be near freezing.

The extended outlook indicates temperatures will go well below normal for the latter half of the week. Snow showers will be likely on Friday and again on Sunday. Weekend highs should be in the lower 30s.
